2 oz. Slaughter House American Whiskey
½ oz. Giffard Apricot liqueur
½ oz. 1:1 simple syrup*
¾ oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
Small handful of mint
Add all ingredients (except soda water) into a mixing tin with ice. Shake vigorously, then double strain into a tall glass over ice.
Top with soda water and garnish with a mint sprig.
*1:1 Simple Syrup
8 oz. water
8 oz. granulated sugar
Add water to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add sugar slowly, stirring until dissolved. Cool and refrigerate in a sealed container, syrup will keep for one month.
