2 oz. Slaughter House American Whiskey
½ oz. 1:1 Honey Syrup*
½ oz. fresh-squeezed lime juice
¾ oz. fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
Small handfull of sage
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake all ingredients hard. Double strain into coupe glass.
Garnish with on sage leaf.
*1:1 Honey Syrup
8 oz. honey
8 oz. water
Add water to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add honey, stirring until completely dissolved. Cool and refrigerate in a sealed container, syrup will keep for one month.
