Mandarin Sidecar Glass

2 oz. Bourbon
1½ oz. mandarin or tangerine juice (freshly squeezed)
¾ oz. lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
Superfine sugar to rim the glass (as desired)


Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Rub rim of glass with mandarin wedge and sugar rim (if desired). Garnish with mandarin zest.
